Legendary speed and flexibility
The Leica RTC360 captures data at up to 2 million points per second, creating detailed 3D point clouds in under two minutes. For faster results, it offers multiple scan modes, with low-resolution scans completing in as little as 26 seconds, ideal for quick overviews and large area documentation without compromising efficiency.
Registration in the field
The Visual Inertial System (VIS) combines IMU data and live video to record where the scanner is and how its position changes from one setup to the next, then it automatically pre-registers a point cloud as it is being captured one setup at a time.
In Leica Cyclone FIELD 360, the operator can view the point cloud to verify coverage, avoiding time wasters like over-scanning or having to make a return trip. Back at the office, start by inspecting and adjusting a pre-registered point cloud instead of assembling it from scratch.
Automatically remove ghost points from moving objects
The bigger the job, the more often people and machines are moving through it.
Workers, pedestrians, machinery, cars -- moving things in the scanner's field of view create ghost points that need to be removed in post.
Set to Double Scan, the RTC360 takes two passes, compares the data from each to detect the moving objects, removes them, and then reduces the data to a single scan.
Accurate data capture indoor or outdoor
The RTC360 sets a new standard in precision for both indoor and outdoor applications. Indoors, it achieves exceptional accuracy with sub-3 mm precision, ensuring detailed and reliable data for tasks such as quality control and structural analysis. Outdoors, the RTC360 maintains impressive accuracy, providing measurements around 6 mm at 50 meters and 13 mm at 100 meters.

As part of the RTC360 solution, the Cyclone FIELD 360 app links the 3D data acquisition in the field with the laser scanner and data registration in the office with Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS. On-site the user can automatically capture, register and examine scan and image data. The user interface combines easy handling of complex calculations with a graphical user guidance that offers a remarkable user experience, also for novice users.
