Leica Lino Technology

Advanced line and point laser technologies in combination with smart adapters are fit for all alignment, leveling or plumb applications.

GREEN LASERS

Green lasers are four times more visible to the human eye if compared to red lasers. This means green lasers are more suitable for longer distances and have increased visibility in bright environments.

TRIPLE POWER CONCEPT

lino

LI-ION

Depending on the laser mode, green lasers powered by rechargeable Li-Ion batteries can be operated for up to 28 hours; red ones up to 44 hours. This can be a considerable cost saving.

ALKALINE

Alkaline batteries provide an alternative power source for green and red lasers to ensure a continuous operation in case no other power source is available.

lino

CHARGER

The charger cannot only be used to charge Li-Ion batteries but it can also be used to operate the lasers, ensuring an uninterrupted workflow.

MAGNETIC ADAPTERS

Leica Linos are easily connected to precision engineered, strong, magnetic adapters. There is no need for a bolted connection, allowing for a fast setup and a quick re-positioning.

SMART POSITIONING

POSITIONING AT FLOOR TRACKS

The Twist 360 adapter has a 50 mm stand off height, which allows it to be positioned right next to a drywall profile. It turns 360° around the plumb point to sets out right angles fast and accurately.

FIXATION AT PIPES

Strong magnets allow the Lino to be attracted to metal corners, tracks or even round pipes. The smart twist adapters include special big slots for zip ties so it can also be attached to non-ferromagnetic pipes.

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

Compact Leica Linos come with either the Twist 250 or the Twist 360 multi-function adaptor. Both are compatible with the UAL-130, which clamps onto tracks or pipes up to 30 mm thick and has 130 mm of adjustable vertical travel.

SELF-LEVELING PENDULUM

The Lino automatically adjusts its positioning if it is slightly out of level (up to ± 4°). If the tilt is outside the ± 4° limit, the instrument activates a visual alert to prevent errors. A pendulum damping system even ensures minor deviations from true level are automatically compensated.

ELECTRONIC SELF-LEVELING

An electronic self-leveling system automatically compensates for being slightly out of level. This is especially useful over longer distances as this makes it almost three times as accurate.
