Facades, especially those of modern buildings, often have complex geometries and are so high that not all the points to be measured are easily accessible. Weather conditions such as wind, rain or even snow also affect the accuracy of the measurements and, above all, personal safety. Last but not least, manual measurements carry the risk of reading or writing errors and, consequently, expensive miscalculations.

Measuring outdoors
The digital Pointfinder with 4x zoom and the large color display make it easier to aim at long distances. The high image resolution ensures a crystal-clear image, which means you can take perfect measurements even in bright sunlight.
Create façade measurements
Combining the Leica DISTO X6 and DST 360-X adapter enables P2P Technology. Supported by the DISTO Plan app, it can be used to create detailed plans of facades – including openings for doors and windows. These plans can be easily exported in a DXF or DWG file format.
Measure inaccessible points
With the innovative P2P Technology, the distance between any two points can be measured quickly and easily from one position, e.g. to determine the mounting points for façade elements.
Relocation
If not all of the points to be measured can be reached from one location, you can easily relocate the Leica DISTO X6 on the DST 360-X by measuring at least three previous points again from the new position. This defines the new location, and you can continue taking your measurements.
Capture data for CAD
The Leica DISTO X6 with P2P function and the DISTO Plan app allow detailed capturing of facades and objects using 3D coordinates. This makes it easy to process the data in any CAD software.
Documentation for offers
All measurement results can be summarized in measurement reports on the Leica DISTO X6 and downloaded in the office via the USB interface. This makes it easy to insert them into offers and invoices. The data can also be imported into Excel for further processing.
