Compatibility

Which DISTO models are compatible with DISTO Plan?

DISTO Plan is compatible with the following DISTO models supporting Bluetooth® Smart: DISTO D1, D110, D2, D5, D510, D810, S910, X3, X4 and X6.

Which DISTO models are compatible with Smart Room?

Smart Room is compatible with DISTO X3, X4, D5 and X6.

Which DISTO models are compatible with P2P Measure?

P2P Measure is compatible with DISTO X3 or X4 with DST 360, DISTO X6 with DST 360-X or DISTO S910.

Can the brightness be adjusted in the digital Pointfinder?

Yes, when the digital Pointfinder is switched on, the brightness of the camera image can be adjusted with the right or left arrow keys.

Subscriptions

Does DISTO Plan offer any free functions?

Several functions are available free of charge: Sketch Plan, Sketch on Photo, Smart Room, and PDF / JPG Export do not require you to purchase a subscription.

Which functions are available through subscription?

P2P Measure, CAD Export (DWG and DXF), PDF Pro Export are available with subscription only.

Can I try P2P Measure without purchasing a subscription?

Yes, you can try P2P Measure for free for a month. The subscription will be automatically renewed if it is not cancelled before the end of the month.

How do I cancel a subscription?

To cancel a subscription open DISTO Plan > My Purchases and go in the section "My Purchases".

In the "Active subscription" section you will be able to cancel your subscription: tap on the "x" button on the right. Then select the subscription you want to cancel and follow the instructions on screen.

I purchased the Unlimited package but now I changed my mind. How can I cancel?

It is not possible to cancel the Unlimited package, since it is a one-time purchase.

I purchased a subscription or the Unlimited package, but the functions are still not available. What can I do?

Open DISTO Plan > My Purchases and tap the button “Restore”. This will restore the active subscriptions.

If restoring your subscription does not work, try the following:

  • Close all apps on your phone
  •  Log out of the Play Store / App Store
  • Log in to Play Store / App Store
  • Open the DISTO Plan App
  • Restore Subscription

I purchased a subscription or the Unlimited package on Google Play Store. Do I have to make another purchase if I want to use the functions on my iPhone as well?

Yes, it is necessary to make a separate purchase on App Store. Subscription and Unlimited package purchases are not transferable from one operating system to another.

I purchased a subscription or the Unlimited package. On how many devices can I install DISTO Plan?

You can install DISTO Plan on four devices sharing the same account.

Connectivity

How do I connect a DISTO S910 to DISTO Plan via WiFi on my Android phone or tablet?

  • Configure your DISTO S910: press button FUNC > Settings > WLAN/BT
  • Select WLAN and Hotspot
  • Start DISTO Plan
  • Tap Menu > My Devices
  • The DISTO S910 is shown as a new device
  • Tap Add
  • You get redirected to the Wi-Fi page. Tap onto your DISTO. A WLAN connection gets established
  • You get redirected to the My Devices page and the DISTO S910 is connected

How do I connect a DISTO S910 to DISTO Plan via WiFi on my iPhone or iPad?

  • Configure your DISTO S910: press button FUNC > Settings > WLAN/BT
  • Select WLAN and Hotspot
  • Start DISTO Plan
  • Tap Menu > My Devices
  • Tap the 'Connect to S910 via WiFi' button
  • You get redirected to the Settings page. Tap WLAN and select your DISTO. A WLAN connection gets established.
  • Return to the My Devices page
  • Tap the connect button on the DISTO S910 tile

I cannot connect with my DISTO via Bluetooth® to my Android phone or tablet. What can I do?

  • Reset DISTO: press the button FUNC > Settings > Reset (is on the second page)
  • Open the app “Settings” on the Android phone > Apps > DISTO Plan > Storage > Clear Cache
  • Open the app “Settings” on the Android phone > Apps > DISTO Plan > Permissions > Allow Location
  • Start DISTO Plan > My Devices and connect with DISTO

I cannot connect with my DISTO via Bluetooth® to my iPhone or iPad. What can I do?

  • Reset DISTO: press the button FUNC > Settings > Reset (is on the second page)
  • Open the app “Settings” on the iPhone and select Bluetooth®
  • Click the " i " toggle button next to DISTO name and "Forget this device" to clear Bluetooth® cache
  • Open the app “Settings” on the iPhone > DISTO Plan > Location > Allow Location Access
  • Restart your iPhone
Exported files

In which formats can I export my measurements from DISTO Plan?

Supported export formats are JPG, PDF, PDF Pro, DXF 2D/2D+Height/3D and DWG 2D/2D+Height/3D.

Where can I find my exported files in my Android phone or tablet?

  • Open the app "My Files" installed on your phone/tablet
  • Exported files are in the folder Internal Storage > Documents > Leica Geosystems > Leica DISTO Plan > Exports
  • You can select the file and share it by email, or copy it to your PC

Where can I find my exported files in my iPhone/iPad?

  • Open the app "File" installed on your device (it's an iOS system app)
  • Exported files are in the folder On My iPhone/iPad > Disto Plan > Leica Geosystems > Leica Disto Plan > Exports
  • You can select the file and share it by email
