The BLK2GO PULSE is loaded with advanced, first-of-its-kind technology, yet it is just as easy to use as any Leica BLK sensor.

What is a First-Person Scanner?

BLK2GO PULSE technology enables a first-person scanning workflow for intuitive indoor reality capture.

Instead of 360-degree scanning, Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors mimic the human field-of-view to capture what you see.

Dual Time-of-Flight Sensors

BLK2GO PULSE incorporates a special type of scanning: solid state ToF LiDAR, developed , which emits a “pulse” of laser points from the scanner multiple times per second.

This pulse of thousands of simultaneous laser points delivers a uniform point cloud instantly.

PULSE TECHNOLOGY

Designed for indoor scanning uses, PULSE technology is a unique fusion of advanced dual ToF sensors and Hexagon’s GrandSLAM technology.

GrandSLAM’s RGB cameras work simultaneously with ToF sensors to colorize the point cloud during capture.

GrandSLAM also orients the scanner in 3D space to track its position from scan-to-scan and provides location data for detail images.

The dedicated BLK Live companion app provides first-person perspective and control of the BLK2GO PULSE. It is where you see what the scanner sees.

Colorized point clouds are instantly delivered to the BLK Live app on your smartphone, with no post-processing required.

You can use the BLK Live app to then export and share your data, including upload to Reality Cloud Studio, powered by HxDR.
