Suspended ceilings, with the help of Leica Lino Laser L2P5G, had to be installed in all Rooms by Ernst Nuesch & Co.

The joinery and carpentry company ‘Ernst Nuesch & Co’ was founded over 75 years ago and has been run by the family for three generations. Today, the company has a total of 12 employees.

Christian Gerber started working here at the age of 16 as a joiner and has since gained 17 years of experience in this profession.

The most recent construction project was about building future office spaces. Therefore, suspended ceilings, with the help of Leica Lino Lasers, had to be installed in all rooms.

The Leica Lino L2P5G was used in two different ways. The first task was to stake-out rectangular angles and control the right corners of the vertical alignment of the ceilings. The second task dealt with the horizontal alignment and the height transfer of the suspended ceilings.

I like the fixation on the wall with the clamp. It is really easy and it’s adjustable in the height. And with the magnet it can be fixed on ferro-magnetic materials.

I need the laser all the time. There is no interruption to my work because the L2P5G has rechargeable batteries or can be connected to the power supply while I am working. What is definitively a big advantage.

Compared to the traditional spirit level, the laser level has the advantage that it can be used by one person alone. Attach it to a wall and align it to all the points at the ceiling you need.
