Scanning a construction site at different stages of the project keeps people on schedule and avoids costly mistakes. We scanned this site with the BLK2GO multiple times at different stages of construction, and each scan only took five minutes. BIM professionals then used the BLK2GO scans to make sure all materials, like steelwork installation, would fit as planned. This entire scan to BIM process takes less than an hour on-site and gives you the data needed for the next step of construction.

As-built to BIM comparison with BLK2GO and Cyclone 3DR allows for rapid verification of site conditions for immediate feedback and decision-making. Workers made sure that steel would fit as planned to avoid mistakes, and once the steel was installed, they took another BLK2GO scan. The same process was repeated to ensure the steel was properly installed. The scan and BIM model were placed on local project coordinates inside of Cyclone 3DR, which visualizes the whole plan in 3D overlaid on the construction site rendering.
