Leica DISTO X3

The Leica DISTO X3 was developed for tough construction site conditions and delivers reliable measurement results thanks to its robust construction. Its sturdy housing made of rubber and glass-fiber reinforced plastic protects sensitive optical and electronic components, ensuring precision and durability. With IP65 protection, the device is dustproof and jet water-protected, so it can be used in dirty environments and is easy to clean. It is also designed to withstand accidental drops from heights of up to 2 meters.

The Smart Room function sets new standards for creating realistic and scaled room plans. Equipped with an integrated IMU, the Leica DISTO X3 effortlessly detects the orientation and movement of the device, allowing you to measure distances and angles both clockwise and counterclockwise with precision. With the DISTO Plan app, these measurements are immediately displayed on your tablet or smartphone and converted into an accurate room plan. 

By utilizing both distance and angle measurements, the Leica DISTO X3 accurately and quickly calculates the horizontal distance. This feature is especially crucial for measuring long distances, where minor inaccuracies can result in significant errors. It also allows you to measure even when obstacles are present.

The versatile end-piece improves measurement accuracy in various situations, including corners, slots and edges. When folded out once, it forms a right angle that can be perfectly aligned with edges for precise measurements. Folded out twice, it transforms into a slim, stable extension that is ideal for measurements from corners and slots. The device automatically detects the position of the end piece and adjusts the measurement reference accordingly, preventing costly errors and guaranteeing reliable results.
