New behavior for power button (switch on):
Some customers reported that when accidentally touching the power button the device would switch on.
With the new power button behavior, it is now required to press and hold the power button for more than 1 second to switch on the device.
We expect that this new behavior will mitigate the accidental switch on of the device.
- Webserver: Incomplete/partial scans are now flagged and shown as “incomplete/partial scan” in the scan menu.
- BLK360 storage warning notifications: When reaching less than 10% of the BLK360 storage capacity, users will now be notified with a warning message in the companion apps (Cyclone Field 360 v5.1.0 and BLK Live App v2.1.0). When reaching less than 2% of the BLK360 storage capacity an error LED (continuous yellow) will be triggered, and capturing new scans will be restricted. Additionally, a critical storage warning message will be shown on the companion apps (Cyclone Field 360 v5.1.0 and BLK Live App v2.1.0).
FIXED ISSUES
- Improved LED warning for critical battery level: When battery level reaches critical level (5% or lower) an error LED (continuous yellow) will be triggered and shown for 40 seconds, then the BLK360 will automatically shut down. When battery critical level is reached, capturing new scans is restricted.
- Red LED after factory reset: A minor bug was triggering a red LED after performing the factory reset and before the automatic restart. This minor bug has been fixed and the BLK360 will no longer show the red LED.
- Incorrect FW version number: This was a minor bug introduced with firmware version 1.5.0 were companion apps (CF360 and BLK360 Live App) and Cyclone Software (Cyclone Register 360 PLUS and BLK Data Manager) were displaying as firmware version “5.0.0”.

It is recommended to update your Leica BLK360 to the latest firmware version (1.6.0) to benefit from these enhancements.

- Compatibility with mobile device apps:
- Leica Cyclone FIELD 360 version 5.0.0 or higher is required.
- Leica BLK Live version 2.0.0 or higher is required.
- Compatibility with Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS and Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS (BLK Edition):
- v2023.1.0 or higher is required.
- BLK Data Manager v2023.1.0 or higher is required.
