MPanel Shade Designer is a standalone windows app (no CAD required) which will create accurate shade sail patterns in minutes. Now with the integration of the Leica import function, you no longer need ladders or tape measures to collect site measurements and create perfect sails.
CAPTURE SITE DIMENSIONS
Using a Leica S910 or 3D Disto to quickly capture sail connection measurements safely and quickly, from the ground – no ladders or tape measures required. Save the point data for each sail in separate dxf files.
Place Leica in the center of the site so all connection points are visible to the laser. Take measurements following the instructions in a clockwise direction.
IMPORT SITE MEASUREMENTS
On the measurements tab inside Shade Designer, select the Leica button and select import points. Site measurements are imported directly avoiding the need to type in measurements and avoiding potential errors.
ASSIGN MATERIALS AND CORNER FITTINGS AND LINKS
Shade Designer allows you to select fabric brands, colors, corner hardware and fittings and also to create your own database to suit your requirements and production methods.
PRODUCE PATTERNS
Determine seam direction and produce patterns with a single button.
OUTPUT PATTERNS
Patterns can be output in dxf form for a plotter/cutter machine
...or printed/saved as pdf files for cutting by hand.
