Rich, No iPad/ Recap Pro interface for me! As I was on the move for most of the four + months of scanning, I opted to minimize the heavy, charge-hungry electronics I'd be toting about. With most of the scans somewhere between 10-30 setups, I was able to download the scanner data the same day and verify that I had captured enough to satisfy my intent. There is, of course, a risk (missing bits)/reward (seeing the scans come together all at once after) there. I'll talk about it a bit more in the next post, but freeing myself of the instant feedback provided by Recap Pro also suggested I augment the scan with analog recording methods; creating planometric sketches of the site that recorded the setup locations.
