Leica DISTO S910
Create as-built documentation, calculate roof dimensions, integrate data into BIM or CAD - calculate the measurements of any distance between two points from one location.
MEASURE FROM ONE LOCATION
INACCESSIBLE MEASUREMENTS
Point-to-Point Technology allows you to carry out complex distance and area measurement tasks quickly, accurately, and most importantly, safely from just one location - even if the area you need to measure is hard to reach.
DATA CAPTURE IN CAD FORMAT
The DISTO S910 can save all captured measurement points as a DXF file. The file is then available to download via a USB connection to a PC. This completely digitalised workflow saves time and money as it significantly reduces errors.
300 METER MEASURING RANGE
The combination of a large touchscreen and pointfinder camera allows for accurate targeting and measurement results, even under challenging outdoor lighting conditions.
ADVANCED OUTDOOR MEASUREMENTS
The innovative X-Range Power Technology of the Leica DISTO S910 achieves an accuracy of +/- 1mm in accordance with ISO 16331-1 standards and measures distances of up to 300 meters. This guarantees optimum measuring performance, even if the reflectivity of the measured object isn't ideal.
FEATURES
DATA TRANSFER
Create "as-built" documentation on site and transmit 3D point data to AutoCAD and BricsCAD in real-time.
DISTO PLAN
Capture complex shapes (rooms, facades) and export those to CAD.
SMART HORIZONTAL
Measurement angles are automatically adjusted to deliver exact horizontal measurements.
MEASURE IN PICTURE
A simple way to determine an object's width, height, surface area or even its diameter.
HEIGHT-PROFILE
Create an elevation profile of measured distances in relation to their height difference.
SITE PROOF
The DISTO S910 withstands drops of up to 1.2 meters and its IP54 protection class ensures that it is well equipped for everyday construction site tasks.
PERSONALIZED
Create shortcuts and personalize your measurement functions according to your most frequent tasks.
LI-ION
Rechargeable Li-Ion batteries ensure an uninterrupted operation of up to 8 hours and reduces operating cost and waste.
USB
Document measurement results and Pointfinder screenshots on your computer via a USB transfer.
THE DISTO S910 IN USE
On-site measurements for drywall installations
"My construction site has lots of slopes, joints and room heights of up to around 7.00 m. I carried out my drywall installation measurement tasks using the "DXF file with 3D points" option of the Leica DISTO S910, in combination with the FTA360-S stand adapter and the TRI70 stand. Even without training, operating it from one point was intuitive. I was able to easily transfer the data into Vectorworks, adjust the imported 3D points and continue working. The result: a workflow I would recommend."
Falk Flöther, specialist dealer for the CAD software Vectorworks, Austria.
Measure up a manhole with permanent gas detection
"The set up of the Leica DISTO S910 was easily in the prepared structure, according to the local safety regulations. The fine adjustment is a great help to target precisely all relevant points like edges and heights. Captured photos are documenting the material and state of components of the measured details. Finally I transferred all to a GIS system. The DISTO is not geo referenced, but the implementation of the measurement to the right place is done with a few clicks."

The measuring solution for roofers
“Measuring takes less than half the time, and later when billing we can almost always transfer the measurements and don't have to measure the property a second time,” says the master roofer positively. All measurements can be taken from a single standpoint on the ground and there is no need to move the instrument. This means that rafter lengths, eave lengths and even dormer frames can be easily determined from below.

Measurements of a roof: When safety comes first
"The first time I used the DISTO S910 to measure a roof, I measured the dimensions of the roof, the dimensions of all the obstacles, and the pitch of the roof. I later got up there to confirm all that information with a tape measure and an angle meter, and I found the DISTO S910 to be extremely accurate. Some of that data is not so easy to gather when the roof in question is covered in snow and ice, made of slate, or just really steep. The S910 changes all of that, plus it takes a lot less time to hit two points with a laser than it does to physically run a tape between them."
